New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met his top Cabinet ministers to review 1 year of his government's performance.

Modi, who returned home after six-day tour of three Asian countries last night, chaired the meet at his official residence 7, RCR.

Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu and Urban Development Minister Nitin Gadkari attended the meeting. BJP president Amit Shah was also present in the meet.

Modi, besides reviewing the one year performance, also discussed the blueprint of his government's agenda for the next year.

The Narendre Modi government will complete one year in office on May 26.

The Prime Minister asked the party to launch nationwide campaign to highlight the achievements of the government and respond to the smear campaign of Congress. He asked party to tell the differences between UPA's 10 year and NDA's 1 year.

The party will also be distributing 10 lakh booklet across the country.

The Prime Minister will also hold his radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat' this week.

The BJP party is planning for a grand celebration to mark the first year in office.

Modi is slated to kick-start celebrations on May 25 by addressing a rally in Mathura, the hometown of Deen Dayal Upadhyay.

The BJP had last year scripted history by bagging 282 seats in 545-member Lower House.
