New Delhi: Two days after his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav fumbled during swearing in as Bihar Minister, RJD Supremo Lalu took a dig at PM Modi saying the Prime Minister too fumbled during his oath taking ceremony as PM of India and he should also repeat his oath.
Lalu Yadav took to Twitter to highlight the incident, saying that the PM committed grievous mistake while taking oath on 26 May 2014.
Lalu tweeted a link of PM Modi's oath taking ceremony as Prime Minister of India.
Lalu wrote on the micro blogging site that when PM Modi had to say 'Akshunn' which means to 'uphold' India's sovereignty and integrity he said 'Akshann'.
Lalu also tweeted, "If he didn't say Akshunn, then his oath is useless. The PM must be sworn in again. Akshann means nothing in Hindi."
He added: "PM's agenda is to divide the country because he never took oath to uphold India's unity."By mispronouncing the word, Modi has rendered his oath "futile" and he should "take it afresh", Prasad said.
Earlier, Lalu's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav misread Apekshit (expected) as Upekshit (overlooked) during his oath taking ceremony as a minister in CM Nitish Kumar's cabinet
It was only after Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind corrected him and told him to read the lines again, he realised his mistake and repeated his oath.
Tej Pratap who won from Mahua has been allotted Health, Forest and Environment, Backward & Extremely Backward Class Welfare Ministry.
