New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today 'strongly' urged the voters in Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir to vote in large numbers in the last and fifth phase polling of the five-phased assembly elections.
The Prime Minister took to micro-blogging site Twitter to make his appeal.
“I urge all those voting in the 5th & final phase of J&K and Jharkhand Assembly polls to turnout in record numbers & vote,” Modi's Tweet reads.
Balloting is underway across 16 assembly constituencies in Jharkhand and 20 in Jammu and Kashmir.
Counting of votes will take place simultaneously in both the states on December 23.
