New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today accused Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav of misleading people of the state on the issue of reservation.
"Those who have been obstructing reservation for women are allies of Congress. What does Sonia ji have to say about this," the PM said while addressing an election rally in Buxar.
"Nitish Kumar, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Sonia Gandhi are misleading you on reservations," he added.
Asking youths not to migrate, he said, "I have a six-point programme for Bihar's development. Youth of Bihar should not need to leave the state for education. Basic necessities like power, roads and water will help Bihar progress."
Modi also took a dig at Nitish for visiting tantrik.
"After the first two phases, 'Mahaswarthbandhan' has lost faith in people so they have turned to Mantra-Tantra. Does Bihar need 'mantra-tantra' or loktantra," he said.
Campaigning for the third phase of polling will end today at 5 in the evening. Polling for this phase will be held on Wednesday in 50 constituencies spread over six districts of Patna, Nalanda, Vaishali, Saran, Bhojpur and Buxar.
