Patna police asked Modi to cancel rally soon after serial blasts, reveals Rajnath Singh in Aap Ki Adalat

New Delhi:  BJP President Rajnath Singh today disclosed that the Patna police had asked him and Narendra Modi to call off the Gandhi Maidan rally on October 27 soon after the serial blasts, but they



The BJP chief refuted media reports that his party had sought SPG cover for Narendra Modi. "We did not make any demand for SPG cover. If the government is unable to provide him full security, the people of India will provide him with security", said Singh.

The BJP president said, he was confident that his party would form governments in four out of the five states going to the assembly polls.

On  Delhi, he said, BJP was still leading in opinion polls, and he expected the electorate to polarize as the poll date comes closer.

Singh said, BJP will not face losses in Delhi by projecting Harsh Vardhan as chief minister.  He denied reports that state BJP chief Vijay Goel was projecting himself as CM candidate for the last 9 months.
