Nitin Gadkari: Big industrialist brokered deal between AAP, Congress to stop BJP

New Delhi: BJP leader Nitin Gadkari today alleged a deal was brokered between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress by a reputed industrialist in a hotel to “stop BJP at any cost” from coming to power

Gadkari alleged dividing votes and doing politics is the policy of Congress.

Referring to AAP, the BJP leader claimed the former will field its candidates in 110-120 Lok Sabha seats where BJP is supposed to win.

“It is a way to ensure that the votes which were against Congress does not go to BJP and AAP gets it and there is a division in the votes..How can we divide the votes and do politics, this is the policy of Congress,” Gadkari said.

Gadkari further alleged AAP had changed colours and although they were talking about fighting corruption of Congress from Ram Lila ground, Anna Hazare left them.

“They were talking about fighting corruption of Congress from Ram Lila ground, Anna Hazare left them. Those who did not belong to Anna, how will they be for the people of Delhi”? Gadkari said.

The senior BJP leader, incharge of party affairs in Delhi, said the party was thinking about expansion of the organisation in the national capital, in the coming days and the party has decided that for the first time it will hold a meeting of all our councillors.

“For the first time, we will call a meeting of our councillors working in BJP-ruled civic bodies. How to increase our work in those wards and how do better work, we will frame our strategy for that,” he said.

Stressing on division of work and de-centralization of organisation, Gadkari said party programmes should be organised more at the ward level.

He said BJP had got 34 per cent votes in Delhi assembly elections but the party has to bring 45 per cent votes in Lok Sabha elections and strengthen the party.

“Where will the 10-11 per cent increase in vote come from? We will have to go to those people who have not worked or voted for us,” he said.
