New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday chanted three slogans in speech delivered from the rampart of Red Fort on the occasion of 69th Independence Day.
1. Team India
He firstly lauded Team India - a team of 125 crore Indians - for their efforts in the prosperity of the country and said the team will take the nation to new heights.
2. Start-up India and Stand up India
The Prime Minister also stressed on the importance of encouraging the culture of entrepreneurship.
He said, "Start-up India and Stand up India should be our mantra."
"We have to give the youth opportunities to grow and be industrialists and entrepreneurs. We want a startup network to be established in India," Modi said.
Urging banks to help in this endeavour, he said, "I want all bank branches in India to contribute to the startup revolution. All bank branches should work to provide finances to tribals and Dalits so that they can be entrepreneurs of the future."
3. Save water, save energy, save fertilizers
The Prime Minister further gave thrust on the need to increase agricultural productivity.
His third slogan from the speech is: "Save water, save energy, save fertilizers should be our motto"
