The overwhelming majority of the rank and file of the party is in favour of Narendra Modi as BJP's PM candidate but some of the allies are not in favour of Narendra Modi. If JD(U) is dead against Modi then the oldest ally Shiv Sena is of the opinion that it's Sushma Swaraj who ahould be NDA's prime ministerial candidate. Sushma Swaraj's name was proposed by none other than the late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray.
