New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi has a unique quality of striking an instant chord with the masses as he delivers motivational speeches clubbed with satire and emotions.

The entire nation was drawn to him during the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections and so were other people who had fortune to hear him speak.

Considering Modi's track record, it is most likely that he will make an extempore speech during his first Independence Day address from the historic Red Fort.

If he does so, then Modi would be the first Prime Minister to deliver speech without a script.

Narendra Modi is expected to reach the Red Fort at around 7.20 am tomorrow. After inspecting a Guard of Honour by the armed forces, he will unfurl the national flag.

For the first time, seating arrangements have been made for more than 10,000 people.

Narendra Modi has set up a team of four ministers to assist him prepare his speech.

This team is headed by Ravi Shankar Prasad. Other ministers include Piyush Goyal, HRD Minister Smriti Irani and Chemicals and Fertilizer Minister Ananth Kumar.

Narendra Modi usually makes long and engaging speeches without prepared text, hence the BJP is apprehensive about Modi using teleprompter that could hinder his spontaneity and natural ease.

BJP sources recall former PM Atal Behari's Independence Speech while he was the Prime Minister. He was unable to strike a chord because he used a teleprompter.

Like Modi, Vajpayee too was an excellent orator.

People have a lot of expectations from Modi and they are eagerly awaiting his Independence Day speech.
