He said when people of the state are going through “trauma and agony”, it is expected that the Prime Minister would take a proactive role as a statesman to resolve the issues.
Instead, the Prime Minister's advice to APNGO leaders to meet (AK) Antony Committee to air their grievances is “inappropriate” as the Antony committee is meant for resolving the internal disputes of Congress party, Naidu said.
Naidu, alongwith senior TDP leaders and MPs met BJP President Rajnath Singh and apprised him of the situation in the state.
Singh said the government “played a joke” with Seemandhra and Telanagana people and said BJP's position is clear that problems of people of Seemandhra also need to be resolved by the government.
Naidu discussed the situation in the state with CPI(M) leaders Prakash Karat and Sitaram Yechury.
