MP polls: Congress wants probe into EVM rigging complaints

Bhopal:  Madhya Pradesh unit of Congress has demanded inquiry into the alleged malfunctioning of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

The party  has written to the Election Commission demanding an inquiry into the possibilities of Electronic Voting Machines being rigged, before votes for the Assembly elections are counted on December 8.

State Congress Vice-President Rameshwar Neekhra said in a statement today that the party had received a total of 42 complaints about malfunctioning of EVMs.
