Kolkata: Mocking West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's recent visit to New Delhi and her brief meeting with PM Narendra Modi at a dinner, State BJP President Rahul Sinha today said that Banerjee has become totally isolated in national politics, tainted in Saradha scam.
“Mamata Banerjee is getting no ally in national politics because her party leaders are being arrested in Saradha scam. Everybody is maintaining distance from her due to Saradha scam taint. When she first went to New Delhi to meet President Pranab Mukherjee she was denied permission.
Later on she got permission just for two minutes. Later on when she came to know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be there at the dinner she stayed back,” Sinha said. Sinha also made light of the issue about Modi inquiring about Mamata at the dinner party.

“Modiji asked “How are you Didi?”. Actually he wanted to ask how your health is and how are you with the fear of the future. After coming back to Kolkata she is sending leaders to various parts of India to raise anti-Modi platforms. I just want to say no one knows them outside Bengal. And if someone comes to know that this is the same Trinamool embroiled in Saradha scam everybody will maintain distance,” Sinha said.
