New Delhi: The Lok Sabha was adjourned for the day Wednesday following protests over the Telangana issue.
As the house reconvened at 12 noon, members against as well as those favouring the formation of the proposed state of Telangana created a ruckus.
While Seemandhra members carried placards hailing a united Andhra Pradesh, Telangana members shouted slogans demanding its early creation.
The members marched towards the Speaker Meira Kumar's podium.
Amid pandemonium, the house was adjourned for the day.
The house was earlier adjourned till 12 noon.
Lok Sabha was disrupted for the sixth straight day Wednesday over the issue.
