Kolar (Karnataka): Congress president Sonia today lashed out at BJP for projecting Modi as a spectacular leader despite the fact that he doesn't believe in India's composite culture.
Addressing an election rally in Kolar of Karnataka, Sonia Gandhi said, “Some people are big mouthed. They exaggerate things. They keep harping on development in Gujarat as if other states have not achieved anything. The reality is that people especially farmers and women are suffering in the state. Efforts are being made to present him as a spectacular leader although he does not believe in our composite culture. Can you expect nation building from such leaders?”
“We have done development work in all spheres of life. From road networks to telecom, we have taken initiatives in all sectors,” added Sonia.
Recalling her party's commitment to the welfare of the deprived sections of the society, Sonia reminded the audience that Congress has made promises in its manifesto that will further improvise the lives of poorer section of the society.
