New Delhi: Ahead of the Delhi Assembly polls, scheduled on December 4, Sonia Gandhi addressed a massive rally at Shastri Park in the capital today.
The party plans to highlight Sheila Dikshit's development model in Delhi. This was evident in her speech which brought cheers from the crowd.
She started by praising Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi as epitome of sacrifice for the country. She said that India's progress began under their tenure.
Taking a dig at the BJP, Sonia said that the very people who didn't fail to question Rajiv Gandhi and Indira Gandhi, how can they leave the PM, me and Sheila.
