Bhopal/Aizawl: Polling came to a close this evening in BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh and Congress-ruled Mizoram. Madhya Pradesh has registered highest ever polling of above 70 per cent, according to EC. Mizoram has recorded around 82

4 pm: Around 82 percent polling in Mizoram

2 pm:
46.23 percent polling till 2 pm in Madhya Pradesh

12 noon:
26 percent polling in Madhya Pradesh till 12 noon

11:30 am: 
36.63 per cent polling recorded in Mizoram till 11 am, says joint state  CEO H Lalengmawia.

Brisk polling was reported from many polling stations in Aizawl.Long queues were seen in front of the booths in Mission Veng and Thakthing areas even before the elections began.

Elderly men and women were brought to the polling stations by their family members to exercise franchise in the early hours.
