New Delhi: In a controversial step that raises question mark over Indian parliamentary democracry, the historic bill to carve out Telangana state out of Andhra Pradesh was today passed by Lok Sabha  with all doors

11:13am - Delhi police reveals that MPs opposed to Telangana bill may put their vehicles on fire. That's why their vehicles have been stopped from entering the parliament.

11:06am- BJP tells Jairam Ramesh that Telangana Bill should not be passed amidst shouting and din the parliament. The govt should consider proper debate over the bill and that the suspension of 17 MPs should be revoked.
