Ralegan Siddhi: Social activist Anna Hazare's indefinite fast demanding a Jan Lok Pal Bill entered the second day today, with doctors after a medical checkup saying that his blood pressure was high and he was feeling drained. Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi visited the venue of fast near Yadav Baba temple here to extend her support to Anna Hazare.Anna Hazare is insisting that the Jan Lok Pal Bill be passed in the current winter session of Parliament. On Tuesday evening, Anna Hazare told the media: "My hair hasn't turned grey in the sun because of nothing. I have launched 16 agitations, and got several bills passed on my own steam. "Kejriwal did not ring me up nor has he sent anything in writing. That's why I won't comment anything about Kejriwal. "The crowd here is less because I have told my supporters to go on protest in their own districts and tehsils", said Hazare.On Wednesday morning, schoolchildren in the area took part in a 5 kilometre long chain holding the tricolour expressing solidarity with Anna Hazare. All shops remained closed in Ralegan Siddhi on orders of Gram Sabha today.Anna Hazare unveiled the wax statue of Nelson Mandel at Ralegan Siddhi today. He described Mandela as a great fighter for non-violence and democracy. The wax statues has been crafted by artist Sunil Kandalloor, said Anna's personal secretary Datta Aware. The wax statues will be installed at Lonavala Wax Museum.Here is the live reporting for Day 2: 4 pm: Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi announces she will sit on indefinite fast with Anna from Saturday onwards. "I don't have anything else to give to the nation except my life. I am Anna's younger sister. We won't leave Anna alone now. I haven't told my family yet about my decision to sit on fast. But I have decided not to sit silent. This is a fight to the finish.", says Kiran Bedi. 1:30 pm: Kiran Bedi reaches the stage. Tells the crowd: "Anna's tapasya (penance) is going for more than three years, that's 1000 days. Soon after Anna's fast began, minister Narayanaswamy said the government will bring the bill in the House again. This government has always misled Anna. Whenever Anna sits on fast, the issue of bill is raised, whenever he breaks his fast, the bill is sent to the cold storage. The government has spoken lies to Anna at least 15 times. He says he is known as the Anna of Andhra. 10:15 am: Dr Dilip Mane of Nobel Hospital says, Anna's health is stable, and his blood pressure is a bit high. His weight has decreased and his face is weary. There is no need to admit him to a hospital now, he says. 10 am: A team of 4 doctors reach the venue of fast for a medical checkup of Anna Hazare. 9:40 am: Hundreds of schoolkids form human chain in support of Anna Hazare in Ralegan Siddhi.9:30 am: Anna's personal aide Suresh Pathare said, a morcha will be taken out at the tehsil on Thursday and a rally will be held this evening here where people will beat utensils.
