Giving the example of Hindi movie 'Dhoom', Gandhi said," Now they have come out with a new film - Gujarat Model. This is the third balloon and the elections are approaching. You (people) have the power. Your fingers will press the button. And the balloon will burst again," he said.
In its manifesto, Congress has promised an ambitious six-point charter of pro-poor measures, including the right to affordable healthcare, housing and pension, and to uplift 80 crore of the population to the middle class.
The new rights will supplement the other rights established under UPA I and UPA II like Right to Food, Right to Information, Right to Education, Right to Employment and rights to fight corruption.
Rahul also said that his party will also bring 80 crore people into middle class and it will be done by opening doors of universities and schools and industries in business corridors that has been created from Delhi to Mumbai to Kolkata.
Attacking the Opposition, the Congress vice president said they stalled the land bill for two years.
"We had questioned that when rich sell their land, they get market rates and when farmers lands are concerned, it is acquired quickly. We fought in Bhatta Parsaul, Niyamgiri and we changed the law," Gandhi said.
