Mamata says, Modi is indulging in politics of drama

Durgapur (West Bengal): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee  on Saturday emphasised she will remain in state politics and dismissed as 'politics of drama' Narendra Modi's suggestion that she could realise her dream of West

The TMC Chief said that her party would fight alone in the coming general elections and urged party men to ensure that the TMC secured all the 42 seats in the state and it emerged as a major player nationally.

"BJP, Congress, CPI(M), our fight is against the three. Keep this in mind. We had created the Trinamool Congress due to the Congress and CPI(M) joint game," she said.

"We will have to fight and win against the CPI(M), Congress and the BJP as we did in the recent panchayat and municipal election," she said.

"The more seats we win, the more there will be importance for us in Delhi. We have to take the space in Delhi."

Banerjee said that she wanted to see her party at the national level because the challenge for her was to restore the pride of Bengal outside the state.

She said that party was also targeting states like UP, Bihar, Haryana, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Assam.
