Mumbai: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, who recently underwent a cardiac surgery, will get discharged from the Asian Heart Institute, Mumbai, on Saturday.
Lalu will be discharged after 3 pm, after undergoing a successful surgery and rehabilitation programme, a hospital statement said here on Friday.
The former Bihar CM was admitted to hospital on August 25 for heart-related ailments and underwent a series of tests.
On August 27, heart surgeon and hospital chief Ramakanta Panda and his team performed three heart surgeries on him for over six hours.
The surgeries were for an aortic valve replacement, an aortic repair and sealing a three-mm hole in the heart.
