New Delhi: Lalu Prasad's journey from a small village boy to emergency hero to Bihar CM and finally to Birsa Munda Jail in Ranchi is quite interesting.Lalu started off his political career as a student



Lalu named his eldest daughter, Misa which was the acronym for Maintenance of Internal Security Act. the dreaded law during Emergency, when lakhs of people were thrown into jails without rhyme or reason. Lalu was one among them. He was in jail at the time of the birth of his daughter, hence, the name - Misa.

Lalu's son Tejasvi Yadav is a medium–pace bowler representing Jharkhand in domestic cricket. He also became a part of the Indian Premier League by joining the Delhi Daredevils n the year 2012. After his career could not take a flight in cricket, he later decided to follow his father and stepped into politics.
