Know why Modi targeted Gandhi family for 'Politics of anger'

Amethi: Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today blasted Rahul Gandhi for accusing him of practising ‘politics of anger'.Addressing a rally in support of party candidate Smriti Irani in Amethi, Modi said that Rahul should not forget that it's his own family members who have always indulged in ‘politics of anger'. Modi recalled the incidents when Gandhi family members indulged in ‘politics of anger'.Let's have a look at the incidents that Modi recalled to buttress his point:1. When Rajiv Gandhi publically insulted T Anjaiah ,the then Andhra Pradesh CM Modi reminded Rahul that his father Rajiv Gandhi had publically insulted the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh T Anjaiah when he had gone to airport to receive the young Congress leader in 1982. Anjaiah's ‘sin' was that he had brought a marriage band to welcome Rajiv at the airport and the Gandhi scion was furious. Modi said that Rajiv insulted the AP CM despite the fact that he was twice his age. Was it not politics of anger, Modi asked Rahul. 2. When Sonia Gandhi did not allow the cremation of P V Narasimha Rao in DelhiModi reminded Rahul that his mother Sonia Gandhi had refused to allow land for cremation of former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao. Not only this, he alleged, Sonia had also refused to allow the body of Rao to be kept at the Congress headquarters so that party workers could pay their homage to the departed soul. When Sitaram Kesri was forcibly thrown out of Congress officeModi also reminded Rahul how the then Congress president Sitaram Kesri was thrown out of Congress office so that Sonia Gandhi herself could take over as Congress president. When Rahul himself tore away the draft ordinance approved by his own party' s govt Modi reminded Rahul how he himself insulted his own PM Manmohan Singh by tearing up the copy of the draft ordinance that the UPA cabinet had approved, describing it as a piece of nonsense.
