New Delhi: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad has been convicted by the special CBI court today in the fodder scam.Lalu will be sent to jail today and the quantum of punishment will be pronounced to him on October 3 through video conferencing.The former Bihar strongman who set new heights and records with his exemplary work in the railway ministry proved his mettle in almost all the portfolios he took over. Born in Gopalganj district of Bihar, Lalu Prasad showed his inclination towards politics since his college days.He joined the JP movement in Bihar in 1975, and was jailed during Emergency. Lalu with some other officials were implicated in the scam and the cases are on trial still now.
