India TV-C Voter survey: Priyanka Gandhi will not be more effective than Rahul for Congress

New Delhi: Contrary to what many political commentators believe, an India TV – C Voter survey has revealed that a majority of people don't believe that Priyanka Gandhi will be more effective than Rahul Gandhi for Congress party in elections. It's a shocker in the sense that until now it was widely believed that Priyanka will be a better choice for leading Congress party as she has the charisma required for electoral success in a country like India.She was considered as the best bet for Congress party especially against Narendra Modi . Like Modi, Priyanka was looked upon as someone who could easily connect with the masses. But this India TV –C Voter survey has shattered all these assumptions. The survey has also revealed that Arvind Kejriwal has replaced Modi as the main opponent of Rahul Gandhi.Let's have a look at how the respondents reacted to the questions asked by India TV in association with C Voter:Will Priyanka be more effective than Rahul for Congress party?54 percent of the respondents believed that Priyanka will not be more effective than Rahul in elections.
