India TV- C Voter snap poll: AAP to gain if LS, Assembly polls are held in Delhi today

New Delhi: Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party is set to gain handsomely if Lok Sabha and Delhi assembly polls are held today, says a snap poll conducted by India TV-CVoter. AAP may get 43 out of 70 seats in the Delhi assembly, leaving behind BJP with 21 seats, Congress 4 and 'others' 2 seats, says the snap poll.The snap poll was conducted among 4273 randomly selected respondents across the capital from Jan 22 to 25. In the Lok Sabha poll stakes for seven seats from capital, both AAP and BJP are set to share three seats each, leaving one seat to the Congress, says the poll projection. AAP's vote share is projected to increase from 30 pc that it got during last December elections, to 46 pc if assembly polls are held in Delhi right now.BJP's vote share in Delhi is projected to rise from 33 pc that it got last month to 37 pc if assembly polls are held now, while the Congress vote share is projected to dip further from 25 pc to 12 pc.Asked how do you rate the performance of Arvind Kejriwal's government in Delhi in last 30 days, 24 pc respondents said 'excellent', 29 pc said 'good', 18 pc said 'average', 10 pc said 'poor' and 14 pc said 'very poor'.Asked if Lok Sabha polls are held today, will you vote for AAP, 48 per cent said 'No' and 39 pc said 'yes' , with 23 per cent respondents undecided. Asked if Delhi assembly polls are held today, will you vote for AAP, a whopping 49 pc said 'yes', 38 pc said 'no' and 13 per cent undecided. On the question, has the AAP fulfilled its promises on issues of electricity, water and corruption, 50 per cent of the respondents said 'yes', 43 pc said 'no and remaining seven per cent undecided. The India TV-CVoter opinion poll shows, 59 per cent of respondents are in favour of AAP government's decision not to allow FDI in retail in Delhi, while 29 per cent opposed.Asked whether bribery has reduced after AAP came into power in Delhi, 52 pc said Yes, 36 pc said No, and remaining 12 per cent respondents were undecided.
