New Delhi, Oct 8: Son-in-law of Congress president and husband of Priyanka Gandhi, Robert Vadra has created yet another controversy by calling India a banana republic and IAC activists mango people.

Rober  Vadra posted a message on his Facebook account which read: "Mango people in banana republic."

Robert Vadra posted this message days after Arvind Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Shanti Bhushan alleged that DLF had provided unsecured loans worth Rs 65 Crores to Robert Vadra apart from a number of sweetheart deals on a series of apartments in Gurgaon.

Kejriwal and team hinted at fould play and said it was a clear case of quid-pro-quo as DLF got a number of favours in Congress ruled states like Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan.

IAC member Kumar Vishwash reacted sharply to Kejriwal's post and retorted, "Vadra's mother-in-law has been ruling the country so he should explain why India is being called a "banana republic."
