HP Assembly session to begin on Jan 8

Shimla, Dec 26: First session of the newly-elected 12th Himachal Pradesh Assembly will begin at Dharamsala from January 8.



The newly elected MLAs would take oath during the four-day session and elections of Speaker and Deputy Speaker would also be held, sources said.

A recommendation for holding the session at Dharamsala was made by the Cabinet in its meeting here yesterday.

Governor will address the house on the first day of the session, they said.
