Dharamsala, Jan 8: The Himachal Pradesh government would order an inquiry into the 28-acre land given to Yoga guru Ramdev in Solan and permission to a trust linked to social activist Prashant Bhushan to purchase tea garden near Palampur, Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said today.
The state government will order the probe to find out whether the stipulated laws were followed in both the deals, he told reporters after taking oath as MLA for the eighth time.
Kumud Bhushan Educational Society linked to Bhushan was allowed to buy a land for the construction of an educational institution on February 2, 2010.
The Commission constituted by the previous BJP government to look into the benami land deals in the past has no relevance and such commissions contribute nothing, he said.
