New Delhi: A day after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) expelled four of its dissident leaders including founder-members Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav, the leaders Tuesday said that they were yet to get the expulsion letter.
They said that all four of them, including Ajit Jha and Anand Kumar, had already decided to split from the party in a meeting on Monday evening.
"We have not got any expulsion letter from the party till now. But even before that in a meeting yesterday (Monday) evening, all four of us had decided to split away from the Aam Aadmi Party," Yogendra Yadav told reporters in the national capital.
The decision to expel the leaders from the party came late on Monday night following separate replies by Bhushan and Yadav to the show-cause notices served on them for organising an anti-party meeting in Gurgaon last week.
The National Disciplinary Committee met here on April 20 to take a decision on the complaints against Yadav, Bhushan, Kumar and Jha.
