Faridabad: Haryana CM B S Hooda has made it clear to his party MLAs that none of them should consider his candidature a certainty in upcoming assembly elections.
Hooda added that candidature will be decided on merit only as the party is no longer following sitting-getting formula.
Targeting his arch-rival Chaudhary Birender Singh, a former Congress man who has recently switched over to BJP, Hooda said that only those Congressmen are leaving the party who are not sure of getting ticket in the upcoming assembly elections.
“Those who are leaving Congress have actually lost their political ground,” added Hooda.
Hooda is facing an uphill task in upcoming assembly elections as the party has to withstand the massive incumbency that has gained ground in the state recently.
