Goa MLA takes public transport to attend Assembly session

Panaji: Goa BJP legislator Vishnu Wagh, who was stripped of his government positions, today arrived for the state Assembly session pillioning a motorbike.  Wagh arrived at the Legislative Assembly complex in Porvorim at around 11.15

The St Andre constituency MLA lives in Bambolim village on Margao-Panaji highway. He took the state roadways bus along with other passengers and later got down at Panaji bus stand, from where he took motorcycle taxi to reach the Assembly.

Wagh said he would travel every day to the Assembly by public transport, though it is not a protest against the government.

“It is not a protest. I am taking public transport because I don't have my own vehicle,” he said.

Wagh, a senior journalist and a writer, is rumoured to have been inclined to join Congress ahead of Lok Sabha polls and and contest from the North Goa seat.
