New Delhi: The nation today remembered former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 96th birth anniversary with President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh paying homage to the leader.

Vice President Hamid Ansari, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi also visited the memorial.

The leaders offered floral tributes at Indira Gandhi's memorial Shakti Sthal on the banks of Yamuna.
