The Election Commission has decided to hold the Jharkhand Assembly elections in the months of November and December.
The polling will be held in five phases in the state with first phase on November 27 and final phase on December 18. The counting of votes will be held on December 23, Chief Election Commissioner Navin Chawla said.
Polling for second phase on December 2, third on December 8 and fourth phase on December 12, Chawla said.
Jharkhand is under President's Rule since January this year. PTI
