Inderjit Singh Rao: LL.B. from Delhi University in the year 1974


Rao Inderjit Singh is Minister of State for Planning (Independent Charge), Statistics and programme implementation (Independent Charge) and Defence in narendra Modi government.
 
He represents Gurgaon Lok Sabha constituency in 16th Lok Sabha. In 15th Lok Sabha, he represented the same constituency but he was a member of Congress party at that time.

Before the elections to the 16th Lok sabha, Singh switched over to the BJP and was awarded with the party ticket from Gurgaon constituency.

Singh was born on 11 February 1951 and was a Congress leader throughout his career. He had demanded a full- fledged enquiry into the allegations leveled against Robert Vadra relating to his land deals in Haryana.
