Harsh Vardhan: MBBS, MS
Dr. Harsh Vardhan is presently the Minister for Health and Family Welfare in the Modi government. He represents Chandni Chowk LS seat in Delhi as a MP in the 16th Lok Sabha.
Vardhan has also represented Krishna Nagar assembly constituency in the Delhi legislative assembly since 1993. He was also the Chief Ministerial candidate for the BJP in the 2013 Delhi assembly election.
Harsh Vardhan was born on 13 December 1954 in Delhi to Om Prakash Goel and Sneh Lata.
Vardhan finished his schooling from Anglo Sanskrit Victoria Jubilee Senior Secondary School, Daryaganj, in 1971.
He attended Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Memorial Medical College, Kanpur, where he graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery. He earned his Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology from the same college in 1983.
Dr. Harsh Vardhan has been a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since childhood.
