Thackeray family controversy

In the month of September in 2012, Digvijay took a dig at the Thackeray  family and claimed that the autobiography of Prabodhankar Thackeray, Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray's father, discloses the fact that the Thackeray family originated from Bihar, settled in Bhopal and later moved to Pune to find employment. After establishing a connection between Bihar and the Thackeray family, Digvijay termed it wrong on Raj Thackeray's part to call Biharis living in Maharashtra infiltrators.
