New Delhi: While the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress have released their manifestos for the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP has come out with a 270-point vision document.

Issues like zero tolerance towards corruption, reduction of electricity bills, women's security and installation of CCTV cameras in residential colonies and in buses find mention in the election promises of both the political parties.

While all these are clichéd promises, yet people hope for some change. This time, abandoning hard core politicians, two former anti-corruption crusaders have captured the battleground, making the content even more gripping.  

The BJP has promised:

•    Housing for all – a pet project of PM Modi.
•    The BJP also promised to make Yamuna river pollution free.
•    Scrapping BRT, Single smart card to be made available for metro, rail and buses
•    Low interest rates for autos and E-rickshaws
•    Rationalisation of water rates
•    More power distribution companies to give options to consumers
•    Zero tolerance towards corruption
•    Reduction in electricity bill
•    Women's security


The AAP has promised:

•    Pass Delhi Jan Lok Pal Bill within 15 days of coming to power.
•    To make Delhi a free Wifi Zone
•    Gram Sabhas to be empowered to make decisions regarding Delhi's villages including extension of Lal Dora
•    Special reservation for all senior citizens and youth
•    To establish a unified transport authority for a holistic transport policy
•    To fill all vacant government posts
•    To provide better facilities to industrial areas
•    To provide loans to young entrepreneurs at low interest rates
•    To enforce an education loan guarantee scheme
•    To turn Delhi into a manufacturing hub
•    Zero tolerance towards corruption
•    Reduction in electricity bill
•    Women's security
•    Rationalisation of water rates
•    Increase the number of colleges, schools
