New Delhi: The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) has taken a new initiative of urging the voters of Delhi to vote on February 7 assembly elections. The corporation has started displaying messages on its buses reminding the travelers of exercising their right to vote on the polling day.

A DTC spokesperson has said that they are appealing all the voters to vote on February 7 through ‘Delhi Votes' message which are being displayed on the LCD screen of the DTC buses. A similar sort of campaign was launched by Election Commission on Sunday on Delhi Metro to increase the voter turnout in the upcoming polls.

During the 2013 Assembly polls, the national capital had seen over 66 per cent voting turnout.
