New Delhi: AAP Volunteer Action Manch (AVAM) claimed on Tuesday that the cheques received by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from some of the companies as donations are fraud. It said that some of the companies are doing so only to convert their black money into white.
AVAM member Karan Singh told this at a press conference, “All money that comes from cheques is not necessarily clean. We wanted to show the modus operandi of AAP that cash is given to such companies and in return cheques are issued. The business of these companies is to turn black into white.”
Another AVAM member Neil, slamming allegations that he has ties with Bharatiya Janata Party, said, “I am not a member of BJP but on social media I did say that I am a BJP member because I wanted to irritate the AAP.”
The volunteer Manch clarified that they had proofs against AAP on January 23 only however, they did not plan the revelations in proximity to the Delhi polls. They did it only when they were insulted publicly.
In context of the donated money, Neil further said, “We got the evidence on January 23. But we decided to go public after Aashish Khaitan insulted Karan Singh on a TV show.”
