New Delhi: With just days left for the Delhi Assembly elections, all the political parties from the Aam Aadmi Party to the Congress, and the Bharatiya Janata Party are sparing no effort to woo the electorate.
Today, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is schedule to hold 25 public meetings at different places in the city. While party chief Arvind Kejriwal will be addressing four public meetings in Narela, Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazar and Balimaran, and his colleagues, Kumar Vishwas, Yogendra Yadav are slated to hold three public gatherings each.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also slated to address an election rally in Dwarka today evening. He is also scheduled to hold rallies in Rohini on February 3 and Ambedkar Nagar on February 4. The BJP has scheduled around 250 rallies in the next six days.
BJP chief Amit Shah will address three poll rallies today.
Congress chief Sonia Gandhi will be at 3 pm addressing a poll rally at Meethapur Chowk in Badarpur today. This will be her first rally of the election season. Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has addressed two election rallies in the capital.
The elections to 70-member Delhi Assembly will take place on February 7 and the results will be declared on February 10.
