Delhi elections: Kejriwal may defeat Sheila, BJP in New Delhi, says TNS survey

New Delhi: If a survey by TNS done for The Economic Times is to be believed, Aam Aadmi Party chief Arvind Kejriwal may cause the biggest upset in Delhi assembly elections by defeating incumbent chief

The survey, the newspaper said, was conducted on the basis of face-to-face interviews, at a time when AAP candidates were facing a sting carried out by a web portal, which was later described by AAP as doctored.

The survey shows, Kejriwal has cornered the support of a vast majority of young voters, 49 pc among voters aged between 18-25 years, compared to 19 pc for Congress and 20 pc for BJP.

The survey also shows that Kejriwal fared batter in all age brackets and across all religious and caste lines.

New Delhi constituency has 1.23 lakh voters.
