New Delhi: Gearing up for the upcoming Assembly polls, BJP Tuesday directed its Delhi unit leaders to put up only Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photo on electoral hoardings and posters with the party's slogan of ‘same government in state and at Centre'.
In the first Delhi BJP executive committee meeting held today, party's National General Secretary (organisation) Ram Lal also said that party leaders and workers should abstain from putting up individual posters with their pictures and instead focus on party's slogan and Modi's photo on posters.
“You (BJP leader) should spread slogan - Jiski Kendra main sarkar, usi ki pradesh main sarkar (same government in state and at Centre) and only give space to Modi ji's photo in your posters and hoardings.
You should not place their photos in such outdoor advertisement,” Lal told party workers and leaders.
On the Prime Minister's proposed rally on January 10 at Ramlila Ground, Lal said that party leaders and workers should ensure to make it a success.
“From each Sahari kendra (polling centre), one bus should be arranged so that a large number people come to hear PM's speech,” he added.
The party leaders and workers were also administered an oath to ensure party's victory in Assembly polls.
