Amethi: A local court here has issued notice to Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal for his objectionable comments against Congress and BJP during the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and asked him to appear before it on June 29.
Civil Judge, Musafirkhana, Durgesh Pandey issued the notice on June 4 to Kejriwal in connection with the comments made by him during an election rally in Aurangabad and asked him to appear in the court on June 29.
Addressing a rally in favour of AAP candidate Kumar Vishwas, Kejriwal had stated that voting in favour of Congress and BJP would be betrayal with the country. Sector Magistrate Premchand had registered a case with Musafirkhana police station against the AAP leader.
