Union Minister Shashi Tharoor's fresh tweets on the visa issue have not not gone down well with the Congress party  which on Tuesday  appeared to disapprove his latest remarks.

"Whatever the party had to say, it had expressed its opinion earlier (when it had disapproved the remarks of Tharoor terming the economy class as a cattle class). S M Krishna has  already spoken about it. We have nothing more to add," AICC General Secretary Janardan Dwivedi told reporters in New Delhi.

Talking separately, party MP Satyavrat Chaturvedi took a jibe at Tharoor saying old habits die hard and that he will slowly understand the "political culture".

"It takes time for old habits to change. Slowly, he will also understand what is political culture," he said. Chaturvedi said personal opinion should not be aired from a public platform and advised everyone to stay in their limits. Party sources maintained that a minister taking regular jibes at the government was not acceptable.

"Wait and watch. We are a patient party," a senior party leader said. Tharoor had landed in controversy earlier when he travelled economy class and later dubbed it as a "cattle class" when an austerity drive was going on in the party and even party President Sonia Gandhi travelled economy. PTI
