Congress seeks action against Modi for his 'poisonous' remark

New Delhi: Congress has approached EC demanding stern action against Narendra Modi and two other BJP leaders including Vasundhara Raje Scindia for terming Congress as ‘poisonous' .In a detailed complaint to Chief Election Commissioner V

“On October 10 2013, Raje while addressing a BJP seminar at Jaipur said poison is being given in the name of medicines.
 
 It may be relevant to mention that the Rajasthan Congress government has provided schemes for free medical services to the people.

“On November 23, BJP's Rajya Sabha member Bhupendra Yadav also attacked Congress Party for its advertisement on free medicines scheme and said the state government is indeed distributing poison and that Raje's remark was a reflection of the public sentiments,” the party said in the petition.
