Cong Denies Reports Of Amar Singh Joining Party

Congress on friday dismissed reports that Amar Singh, who has resigned from all posts of the Samajwadi Party, was joining the party.

"He (Singh) has not sent any application. It is a hypothetical question," party spokesman Shakeel Ahmed told reporters in New Delhi. 

Ahmed described the matter as "internal affair" of the SP saying the party has no comments on it.  Singh had resigned from the posts of General Secretary, national spokesman and member of the SP Parliamentary Board. PTI
