Som is expected to address a rally in the twin towns of Ayodhya and Faizabad in favour of BJP candidate Lallu Singh on May 1.
BSP candidate from Faizabad LS seat Jitendra Singh Bablu has submitted a memorandum to election observer Shri Ranjan, demanding him to ban Sangeet Som from canvassing here as it may create “communal tension” in the area.
“If the administration doesn't stops him, we will oppose his visit. We will not allow him to make Faizabad another Muzaffarnagar,” Bablu said.
