Chandigarh, Mar 27: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today said that the latest Wikileaks revelations have exposed the true face of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and comments made by its leader Arun Jaitley have proved that the BJP had been using Hindutava for votes.
“When elections approach the BJP is reminded of Ram Mandir and once they are over it completely forgets the ‘Mandir and Hindutava', which clearly shows that the party is indulging in the politics of self-interest and it has nothing to do with common people. BJP is misguiding people on the name of religion,” Hooda said.
Hooda, who was talking to media persons at Rohtak today, said that the revelation of Wikileaks had confirmed this conviction of Congress that BJP had adopted double standards and it has nothing to do with the interests of the common people.
BJP had neither a sustained policy nor it had any programme for the welfare of the common people, he added.
The Chief Minister said that it had become clear from the revelation of Wikileaks that the BJP's stand was self contradictory, as whenever anything was said about Congress Party by the Wikileaks, the people of BJP made hue and cry taking it as true, and whenever they were blamed for their deeds by the same media, its people refused to believe it.
