New Delhi: The BJP under the leadership of former chief minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia is set to storm back to power with 118 out of a total of 200 assembly seats in the forthcoming elections

India TV has already telecast the C-Voter projections for Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, where the BJP has been projected to retain power, with lesser margin in number of seats.

C-Voter projections show that the ruling BJP in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh may be able to retain their majority, albeit by a slender margin.

According to the opinion poll, BJP is set to win 47 out of a total 90 seats in Chhatisgarh, with Congress coming close with 40 seats, BSP 2 and others 1.

Vote share wise, BJP's vote share, if polls are held right now, is projected at 42 per cent and Congress 38 per cent, says the opinion poll.
